Faced with an hour to yourself (perhaps a problem you don’t often have), what do you do with free time?

I love reading and learning about other businesses. I watch CNBC or listen to How I built this.

What is the thing you bought in the last three months that you have most enjoyed?

Summer Fridays “BellyMoon Balm”, Barefoot Dreams blankets and Apres Sunday lounge set. I find myself buying a lot of pink and things that make me feel good and pampered while being stuck at home.

What’s the last song you listened to?

I’ve been listening to the Tropical House Essential playlist on Apple because I want so badly to be on a beach somewhere. I highly recommend it!

Did you learn anything new in the last 12 months that has surprised you?

I learned I’m a lot stronger than I know. Its amazing what women can do and I think pregnancy really teaches you that!

What is a parenting quality you admire in one of your parents, friends of siblings that you’d like to emulate as a mother?

I admire how selfless, hard working and dedicated my parents were. They were both small business owners. My father a doctor and my mother was just starting her business when I was born. She was able to build a successful business while still being a stay at home mother. I hope to follow in those footsteps!

2020 has dealt us all with lots of challenges - what was a low moment in 2020 and how did you overcome or face it?

My lowest moment was probably coming into this I was suppose to deliver a huge order for a retailer and it was cancelled due to the pandemic. I had to quickly pivot and we started making PPE gear for the military which has been really great! All in all, 2020 forced me to take a step back and focus on taking care of myself more than I ever have before so I’m thankful for that life lesson.

What are you most looking forward to in a post-vaccine world? What bar, restaurant, or place are you most eager to visit?

I can’t wait to just hug people. Hang out and see friends! It’s been so long being out anywhere without having to worry sounds like a dream and  I would love a tropical vacation!

Do you believe in setting personal goals? If so, how do you hold yourself accountable to them?

I’m so into making vision boards. I make sure to focus on these goals and create building blocks into achieving them.

How important is community to you, and how do you go about building and nurturing it for your family?

I didn’t have much of a community growing up and my husband comes from such a big family and community which I love! So it’s really important for us to give our children that same experience. What’s great is that a lot of our friends are having babies right now so we will make sure to always get together.
